You know, some of us might be inclined to agree with certain kinds of music like gangster rap, but no..ALL music no matter how innocuous is gonna send you to hell

Secular music covers a broad spectrum of music and HTB left that largely undefined as to what it covers. If it covers ALL non-Christian music then these people have a valid point HTB just dismissed

1. Repent
2. Be baptized in Jesus Name
3. Receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

You bring up a very good point. Music is a powerful and emotional thing. I know that for me I can hear a song and it will instantly transport me in my mind to situations and circumstances that were going on when it was popular and I was hearing it a lot.
For someone who lived a wild life before the Lord when they hear certain music it may associate in their mind with sinful acts of the past. Not a good place to dwell.
This is one reason I have stated in the past that I believe it can be wrong for one person to listen to a song that it is not wrong for another person. I was raised in church and never went through a rebellious period so I have never used any drugs, been drunk, or did any wild partying. For that reason I can listen to a secular song and enjoy it with no bad associations to the music where someone else may not be able to do that.

Depends on who's preaching. I've heard Louis L'amour preached against very strongly.

Seriously who hasn't experience what its like to listen to only Christian music.
A popular radio station, KLove, gave a challenge for people to listen to only christian music for 30 days. The people that took the challenge found major changes in their faith and relationship with Jesus, mainly enhanced because all they listened to was uplifting Christian music.
No not all music is sin but its very beneficial to listen to only christian music.
