Jesus himself cuts off the disobedient.
15:2 Every branch
in me that beareth not fruit
he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
John 15:2
13:6 He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.
13:7 Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none:
cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?
13:8 And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:
13:9 And if it bear fruit, well: and if not,
then after that thou shalt cut it down.
Luke 13:6-9
And then to insinuate if they were really his that would be unthinkable? Not to Jesus. He senses changes in mens hearts.
2:20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce
my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
Rev. 2:20.
Note that Jesus called these Church members
his servants. No they were not just tares. They were backsliding, deceived Christians.
He was very close to releasing his punishment upon them.
2:21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.
2:22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.
2:23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.
Rev. 2:21-23
The latter day Jezebel movement does not ever want
HIS SERVANTS to hear teaching like this. They might just repent and get right!
