They really are. I was very surprised when I viewed the video. I expected it to at least be complete sentences. I've seen numerous four-year olds pretend to preach, and most of them did it much better than this! I am amazed and embarrassed by this being on tv!

I think this is sad. The child is simply doing what he sees others do, but that doesn't equal annointing. What is sad to me is that the church is encouraging it and his parents are too. It seems like this little boy is being exploited. As kids, we did the same thing in our living room but our parents would never, ever claim we were preachers and put us behind a pulpit "preaching" to the church.

This kid might feel as if he is expected to perform,and when he gets older it could put a bad taste in his mouth for the Christian faith.

There was a kid preacher in the area that I grew up in.
The adults would sometimes put him up to preach in children's church at Camp.
This was when we were 6-10 years old.
The thing was all of us kids intensely disliked him, because he was sneaky, a liar, a cheat and a bully.
It really made me unhappy with the adults at the time.
I remember thinking "don't they know what he is like".
He became infamous in that part of the country, among the oneness movement, for other issues after he was grown.
I think that being put up to preach contributed to his issues in later life.

It's disturbing. Why? This makes you realize how much preaching is a learned behavior for some and how shallow we are when it comes to considering what preaching is supposed to be.
Marjoe learned how to do it too.
It doesn't take a calling or an anointing to do that.
More disturbing is this pastor putting his son in that position and putting the church in that position

Let it be understood that Apostolic Friends Forum is an Apostolic Forum.
Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.
