So the percentage has stayed about where it was 25 years ago. If that's the case it is a surprise.
I have nothing against 10 or 15 percent, providing the mucky mucks at HQ aren't drawing this income on the backs of their PIMers. (Besides being overpaid) Those guys need to earn some of their own income (ie: speaking fees, books, local church ministry etc) with the express intent to offset some of the load of the FMs particularly those going where the COLA is high.
I'll admit it: I'm wired against a large, centralized headquarters that TAKES money from the PIMs.
