Christians, even to non-Christians, are supposed to have a high moral standard. Not just a self determined standard. It's codified in the bible
An atheist does not follow that standard. They have their own and since they have no moral guide other than their own will, there is no guarantee an atheist would not do or advise such a thing. Same goes with many pagans.
I'd expect something like this, like that from anyone that did not have a moral standard to guide them.
Now, before your little wheels get spinning, please note the grammar of what I said. I said I'd expect this from a non-Christian" in comparison to a Christian. Not "I expect all non-Christians to have such a view"
In other words, due to Christians having a moral standard, the bible, this should not be expected...as Paul said
Eph 5:2 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us, and has given Himself for us as an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savor.
Eph 5:3 For let fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness
not be once named among you, as becomes saints,
Eph 5:4 neither baseness, foolish talking, jesting, which are not becoming, but rather giving of thanks.
Eph 5:5 For you know this, that no fornicator, or unclean person, or covetous one (who is an idolater), has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
Real Christians are supposed to behave as though they are here in Christ's stead. Christian means a disciple of Christ or someone that is trying to be Christ like...like Christ. Thus such a behavior or attitude does not belong to the appellation "Christian".
Please tell me that did not go over your head...or is it that Timmy is just conveniently avoiding the point to start trouble?
