I think we often miss the eternal significance of the cross and all that Jesus did for us. We think of it as a bank account He filled in the first century that we must draw from. We often don't see it as a ransom He paid for us, unbeknownst to us, without our permission, while we were lifeless, cold, and dead in sin.

This is so absurd in so many ways. First if you was personally saved in eternity Jesus came and died in vain. Individual predestination is a Calvinistic heresy NOT preached by the Apostles nor Jesus.
Eternity had a plan but the plan without the reality of the plan would be without power.
The PREDESTINATED PLAN is salvation through His blood & resurrection by obeying
Acts 2:38. The ONLY way to experience the Blood is by faith obeying the gospel. My friend forum life has not been good for you.
