I am sure there is a lot more to your story than you have shared thus far. The bitterness is palpable. From what you have posted so far you come across as someone who didn't like the playground and when you didn't get things your own way you took your ball and went home. One of those people who believe the whole world is wrong and they are right. Someone who ditches church because none of them are correct enough for them. I am 52 years old and have seen a lot of you through the years.

I pray that you Will find the tender loving part of God that can reach into your heart and give you peace and joy. It is ok to disagree and champion for your beliefs but when you do it outside of the constraints of a Christian attitude and perspective bitterness is usually the result, which is obvious here.

I say this with the kindest of heart. I don't mean to offend or anger you. I am not defending any particular doctrine you have a gripe with.

I am not offended, there is not much you could say to bother me.

I was very interested in doctrine when I was in school. In fact I still am, but do not keep up with it anymore, since it is a waste of time. I never was one to force others to do what I say. And Christians do not need to be controlled with a set of laws. That is one big failing of your church. Your laws are now more important than the truth. Bitterness does not describe me. I left church simply because no one cared, just like everyone on this forum. The only regret I really have is the wasted time.
If anything, I now have confirmation that I am correct. No one cares about the one single most important doctrine of your religion, ONE GOD. For what ever reason, lack of time, lack of interest, fear of retribution, no one will defend your most important doctrine. And so as I mentioned before, if there is no defender, there is no church, there is no god.
I am much happier now. It was so frustrating trying to defend a religion with so many failings. You think you have to look different, but in reality you need to be different. You talk about bitterness! Have you ever read this forum? God have mercy on all of you! You are exactly like the Jews were when Jesus came. Fighting over petty issues, making petty laws, and finding your own loopholes. You had better hope that Jesus does not enter one of your churches, or you might find all your pews overthrown!
And one last parting comment. MAYBE, if you really did things right, MAYBE you would really speak in tongues, instead of gibberish. I am really impressed with so many of your preachers who scream and shout the words "seek a mo sigh uh"! I would really like to know exactly what those words mean. I have heard them over and over so many times! So if you really want to impress me. Tell me where I can send a linguist who can understand what is being said in tongues in one of your churches. YOU CAN NOT DO IT! When the apostles did it, it just happened, that the foreigners there were understanding the exactly correct spoken language. You stick your head in the dirt and pretend it is real. If you are basing your redemption on tongues, you are all lost.

Compare what I have said to what Jesus told the Jews.
They did not believe him either.
