I am sure that everyone has their own definition of
Apostolic but here is mine:
Apostolic - Believing, Living and Demonstrating what the Apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ did.
I spent almost 20 years in the "Apostolic" ministry and movement. It was RARE to see ANY demonstration of the Apostolic beyond water baptism in the name of Jesus and then it was done so many different ways and was not (and is not) consistent at all in wording. If we believe that the
WORDS matter then it has to be uniform and ALL have to say the EXACT SAME THING. That has not and WILL NOT happen!
It was rare to see true REPENTANCE & DELIVERANCE, devils cast out, the nine gifts of the Spirit in operation, Operation of the Five Fold Ministry, a true love for The Lord Jesus Christ instead of just HIS NAME. The Power of God demonstrated in instant visible miracles, healings, signs, wonders and the Prophetic flowing in preaching and personal ministry.
It saddens me for I can see what the Apostolic Movement could be but sadly will never be because is is guided and driven by ego, elitism and sectarianism. The leaders walk in fear of man and will not sit down the false and lying prophets among them for fear of losing some control or popularity.
What the leadership and hierarchy cannot control they try to kill (murder their influence). It is a sad day in the Apostolic Movement that men lord over God's heritage and rule with corrupt political ambition.
I am thankful that I am not a part of it and left it 12 years ago.
