Eighty-five percent of pastors said their greatest problem is they are sick and tired of dealing with problem people, such as disgruntled elders, deacons, worship leaders, worship teams, board members, and associate pastors. Ninety percent said the hardest thing about ministry is dealing with uncooperative people.
Remember the wisdom of the apostles in Acts chapter six. They found that they weren't able to spend the time they needed in prayer and Bible study, because of the demands of the ministry.
People will take your time and make demands on you and then leave you in a heartbeat. Pastors, Give your Time, Efforts and Energies to your Family. They will stick with you when the gossips, trouble makers and VDP's (Very Draining People) have left!

The main reason the pastors and religious professionals are so stressed today isn't because of the NT church system, it's because they're part of a manmade church system.
The so-called 'church' system today is built on performance and money, bigger buildings, bigger congregations to build even bigger buildings, state of the art sound systems, the latest multimedia, light shows, performances, so-called 'revivals', professional fund raisers to elicit even more money out of the laity, staying ahead of the 'church' across town, board meetings, finance meetings, budget meetings, and on and on and on. It's no wonder pastors are stressed, the laity suffering and mimicking the power of God.
For the professional religious person, such as yourself, it's essential to live in this system with all it's pressure, but for the person who' following the example of the NT church system, you'll not find such problems. The professional religious person has little choice, I understand that, it's their living. How they pay their bills.
