Broadbrushing isn't something I'd recommend. No, I haven't had run-ins with police officers like many of my own peers have. Assuming you weren't adding to the officer(s) reason to pursue you, I can't see your justification in saying "cops," as if all of them "will do anything, anything, to cover their trails and say they did nothing wrong. Seeing that you're in Southern Louisiana, I wouldn't put it past a small town officer to see what he can get away with. But, even still, it doesn't mean all cops are what you're painting them out to be, unless you were up to no good to begin with...
