people get uptight and say they would have never done such a thing, but yes they did, infact they did so all the way up until God commanded them not to after the exodus.

So again, one must decide that inbreeding was magically
held in abeyance with this model. Not saying impossible,
but doubtful. Marrying a niece dangerous enough, but a sister?
This story works fine for kids, but men are known as
"Adam" or "Ish" in Scripture, and it would serve you
to find out why.
