And yes, the Bible does instruct us to care for those that are hurting, the widows and the orphans... absolutely, but not via governmental theft and mandate.
It is to be via the church, and our own personal charity and choice. The Bible does not anywhere condone taking from me BY FORCE, and giving to someone else hurting. The Bible teaches, me operating in the love of Christ and ME giving to the poor, orphans, and widows.
I believe you are the one who needs to get it right.....
