Interesting... and kinda going off topic here...
I've always wondered why the English language is so full of words, yet... there is only one word describing "love" ..... seems to me that we could have created more than one word to describe so many varied and emotional events!
eg: love your children... love your dog... love your car... love your husband/wife... pizza... chocolate... everything and anything we enjoy seems to conjure up the word love.... why could not the "fathers of the English language" not get more creative and have a different way of expressing the word "love" ...
(Love is just one of the words in the English language that I chose to make an example of this, but I am sure there are more with many and varied meanings, making it so very difficult to learn the nuances of the English language)
