So we decide which sons/descendents of Abraham live or die? That's right - in saying what you say you curse descendents of Abraham to whom this promise was made.

That is a provoking thought...something I have never really given a second thought before.
The bible says:
And the LORD said unto me, Distress not the Moabites, neither contend with them in battle:
for I will not give thee of their land for a possession;
because I have given Ar unto the children of Lot for a possession.
(
Deuteronomy 2:9)
...and
And when thou comest nigh over against the children of Ammon, distress them not, nor meddle with them:
for I will not give thee of the land of the children of Ammon any possession; because I have given it unto the children of Lot for a possession.
(
Deuteronomy 2:19)
...and
And command thou the people, saying,
Ye are to pass through the coast of your brethren the children of Esau, which dwell in Seir; and they shall be afraid of you: take ye good heed unto yourselves therefore:
(
Deuteronomy 2:4)
Meddle not with them; for
I will not give you of their land, no, not so much as a foot breadth; because I have given mount Seir unto Esau for a possession.
(
Deuteronomy 2:5)
Now I am just asking a question here because I do not know the answer, but how do we know who is who over there? We don't know who the descendents of Lot or of Esau are. God told the descendents of Jacob not to meddle with various peoples when they were traveling to the promised land.
Some people believe that the Palestinians are called "Edom" and these are the descendents of Esau.
Any thoughts?
