Take away the "gun free" zones. I don't know of anyone who does not teach their children "gun safety". The government is the most inefficient means of doing anything. Whether it be procuring hammers, handling mail, or running trains the government wastes and wastes and wastes. To put the government in charge of "gun safety" would be to politicize something that is a constitutional right. Once a president is in place like the current president he would make it virtually impossible to either pass the class or even take the class. This same thing takes place with the "war on coal". The government cannot pass a law against using coal (cap and trade) so what the government cannot do overtly is being done covertly by the EPA. They have tightened up regulations concerning coal to the point that we will see coal electric plants shutting down thereby driving energy costs up.
Number 1 - keep the government out of it!
I have had weapons since I was a kid. They have never been pointed at anyone. People are the problem not the weapon.
The laws on the books are sufficient for the needs. No more laws are required. This individual was turned down already for a weapon - according to reports. He stole the weapon - according to reports.
Here is the problem and why everyone needs to chill - we don't know the whole story. Yet, gun grabbing politicians are using this heinous event to further their political agenda. They should be impeached for this disgrace. We need to understand what happened before taking knee jerk reactions to something we don't even understand.
Edited to add:
I am glad I am not president either.
