If it was me, me personally, I really could not care less if other ministers were required to do anything. We are not talking about requirements. You guys sure like to play with that question and not answer it. But I would. I would do it, if I believed it was wrong. Because since everyone will see me I would not want the kids to think that I believe it is ok. They may never know my history of drug use, but even that I would use that as a testimony and make sure the kids knew it was wrong, particularly if they knew I was a drug user.

If some preacher gets up and says "I used to smoke Pot", thereby letting everyone know this is what he did, I would expect him to renounce it under the same breath. In the same vein, I would expect someone covered with Tattoos to at some point declare his views that they are wrong. That is often WHY we have ex druggies speak, so they can tell you it's wrong and don't do like I did.
What if your face was burned ...from freebasing .. like Richard Pryor ... would you renounce it also???
