People that are mean to a waitress/waiter are NOT nice people.

Because my sins are gone;
And when I meet the scoffers who ask me where they are,
I say, "My sins are gone."
They're underneath the blood on the cross of Calvary,
As far removed as darkness is from dawn;
In the sea of God's forgetfulness, that's good enough for me,
Praise God, my sins are gone.
in an interesting twist, the waitress who posted this on line has been fired. She wasnt the waitress who served the people but was offended enough to post it.
See how nothing good comes from being an idiot and using God to do it?
Can you explain what point you are making here, Ferd? I can think of at least a couple of ways to take this remark and would like to know what it is YOU are saying thanks.

I try to be generous when I tip. The 18% is because they had to wait on a huge table with demanding people. What I hate is when youth do it. Not only do they not tip, even if they did they often just get a soda.

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
Every sinner must repent of their sins.
That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.
That will be the day that a restaurant tells me to tip 18%!
I only give a tip if I get good service, and I tip what I find reasonable....
It's none of the restaurant owners business to tell me how much to tip.
Oh...and if the food is lousy I don't pay anything!

an 18% tip is not unreasonable. I almost always tip 20%. The 18% added to the bill was because it was a large crowd. That's not an unusual thing. If she had a problem with the service, this woman should have asked to talk to the manager instead of acting like this kind of an idiot.
It's people like this who give Christians a bad name. The thing that bothers me about this whole thing is that there will be people who will say that because of the behavior of someone like woman they will never darken the doors of a church. Sure I know that's just an excuse. But still, I would not want to be in the shoes of this woman pastor when she has to stand before God one day and explain to Him why that 18% was more important than showing this waitress the love of Christ.

Guess the thing I don't get... Why is it optional if its not considered so? In Europe they add it on the ticket... One for carry out, another for eating outside under a canopy, and the highest for eating inside.

If the food is lousy, you complain to the manager, and get it comped, but tip the waitress as if it hasn't been. Just so you know, the waiters don't cook your food.
