ILG, yes, the brother that got the shot is alive. In Dec. 1995, he had a kidney transplant due to failed kidneys.
He and the niece that donated a kidney both came through the surgery and went home in a few days. He started a home missions church the next year. Just resigned a few months ago, to possibly work in another ministry, related to missions. The 26 yr old niece that donated one of her kidneys to her uncle, was born on his 15th birthday. She was born with enlarged kidneys.

Dad and Mom lived by THEIR faith, in the church and in the home. Although they trusted GOD for themselves and their family, as long as they lived at home. The people in the church they founded, decided whether or not they would seek medical assistance. When their children had their own homes, they would need to make the decision for their own family.
I thank GOD for the doctors that have assisted in situations regarding our children's families. There have been some serious situations, and though they sought medical help, GOD brought them through victoriously.
My husband and I have trusted GOD for many things. Over 20 yrs ago, my husband went to the ER after having several gallbladder attacks. They kept him for two days, and got the gallstones settled down. The Dr. he had gone to originally went on vacation and said when he got back from vacation, he would make those gallstones history. His
son release my husband to go home with a low-fat diet and to wait for the return of his father. The son wanted to go ahead and do the surgery, but since the gallstones had settled down, my husband said all he could think of was to get the elders and the ladies prayer group to lay hands on him, anointing him in the name of Jesus. He did get prayed for and todate have never had another attack. The e-ray technician who e-xayed him, told my friend from church, that that man had two of the largest gallstones she had ever seen.
God has been good to us. We give HIM Praise.
