That's how it works for my dad, too. But he doesn't spring up out of the chair and jog the rest of the way (as I bet you don't, either)!

(He gets a ride all the way to the gate, btw. If he couldn't do that, he just wouldn't fly, ever. Which he pretty much doesn't anymore, anyway.

By the way, years ago in some of the healing meetings, they had a supply of wheel chairs. If there was going to be a prayer line and someone had difficulty standing for any length of time they would be provided a wheelchair. Then when they got to the evangelist and he/she prayed for them, the evangelist would take the person by the hand and pull him/her out of the chair and the person would walk off stage. It made the "healing" look more spectacular if they were pulled from their feet from a wheel chair.
