What?

What?!
Yes, Timmy, God is discoverable in the scriptures! But you first must believe that HE IS!

1. Believe that GOD IS!

2. Discover God in scriptures!

Re: Is The Bible Infallible ?

OK, but really, I get what you mean. I think. But once one believes that God is (by which I suppose you mean that God exists), how does that lead one to using a particular set of scriptures to "discover" God? Is there a good reason for choosing the 66 books used by most Protestants? What about the other Christian canons? What about non-Christian canons?

There are many choices. How did you decide which scriptures to accept as God's Word? Do you have a special ability to discern which are true and which are false? Do other people have that ability, too? Do I have it?

The Quran? The Book of Mormon? The books rejected from the Bible canon?

If you reject that God is, you will not look for Him, therefore you will not find Him.

Re: Is The Bible Infallible ?

I'm thinking the Bible is 99% accurate and 1% debatable owing to some manuscript/translation flaws. But we have enough to get the big picture.

Here's hoping the 1% isn't important!
