If the Lord is convicting you to do something you now feel is "sin", it would only make sense to take care of that sin, if at all possible, before baptism. That way after baptism, you would feel you have a new beginning in your life.

This is just my opinion, and entirely between you and the Lord, of course. May God bless you as you continue to follow Him!
