We were discussing the eternal prexistence of the Son as the Son vs as the Logos who became the Son not how long the Son exists

Let it be understood that Apostolic Friends Forum is an Apostolic Forum.
Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Just explaing the difference. Martin and Mccarthur believed the Son wasn't always the son but was the logos

This statement does not make sense. If you preach Act 2:38 as the gospel INSTEAD of the CORRECT RESPONSE to the gospel??
So are you saying that if you preach repentance only as the gospel instead of the correct response to the gospel, are you not equally a false teacher.
It seems to me that you are basing the truth or error on a response rather than what is being responded to.

Hmmmm......should I apply this to some of the preachers in the UPC? You want to see ravenous wolves tear up the sheep and love grow cold, just tell them you don't believe the Bible teaches the initial evidence doctrine and standards and see some real ugliness.
