If I'm still hungry when my plate is done, I'll eat more. I'll do that when I'm at home and I'll do that when I'm out. Buffet or not, I don't leave the table hungry. Common sense, if we can use that here, tells me most people do the same.

Sasha, please tell me you're just joking around with me. I mean, I'm finding it really hard to believe you're actually serious with what you post here. "Isn't home pretty much a buffet?" Uhm, sure if you
cook all the food you have in both pantries, freezers, and refrigerator! If you can't understand that people will eat more of what is immediately available at a buffet, than they will of one main dish and a couple side dishes at home...then I can't help you. People will pay $16 for a buffet, then make sure they get their $16 worth by eating more than one main course, and more then one or two sides. It's simply a proven fact.
