Why don't you try again, RDP, to show me the scripture that says "women shalt not prophesy or preach"?
Nowhere does Paul say that a woman can't preach. He does say a woman is not to teach or tell her husband what to do.
But there is no specific scripture in any of Paul's writings that says "a woman shall not preach".
Sorry... but its not there. All believers are commanded to go and preach. All those who were scattered... weren't just men... it was their wives and children too... and that scripture said "they" that were scattered went preaching.. no matter how you want to define it, it still reads that way. You don't like it because it messes with your theology, but regardless, it is still there. Women, just like men, are commissioned to share the good news of the gospel wherever they go.
If this were not the case, then why would God have even given women the spirit? If the great commission was foretold in Joel, and Jesus confirmed it before his ascension, and women were present at the Day of Pentecost, then the fact that women can prophesy and preach the gospel should be as plain as the nose on your face.
