The word "doctrine" in the above verse
means:
I.teaching, instruction
II.teaching
A.that which is taught, doctrine
B.teachings, precepts

Therefore what it is saying is all scripture is God's teaching.
Notice also this passage:
2 Peter 1:20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
Again all scripture is attributed to God. |
Nice way of side stepping the question. lol.... Specifically then, provide an instance out of the gospels where Jesus taught and where He specifically mentioned a dress code, or standard of appearance in relationship to salvation.
