For the record, drinking became a sin under the puritan and later Holiness people long before Topeka or Azusa

We inherited it when much of the Holiness crowd became Pentecostals

I haven't seen anyone here argue it's ok to get drunk. Now you are trying to shift the burden of proof

Did you know that in bible times wine was the most common drink for everyone? They often cut it with water. The alcohol killed the pathogens.

People drink a glass of wine with dinner all the time and don't get intoxicated. There's not enough alcohol in most wines to do that.
