Some of those claims were written down thousands of years ago. Some of those written claims are believed by many people today. By the way, whether such claims are true or not is irrelevant to my statement. So it you agree with it, it's not an admission that you might be wrong (or more to the point, that the one who made the original claim might be wrong), so there's no reason to disagree, really. (But some will anyway, I expect.  )

OK Timmy... how would YOU like God to communicate to human beings? What would be the preferred method of communication that you would like to see between God and humanity? What would it take for you to believe that God had indeed spoken?
