Very few AFFers have shown me the courtesy to tell me that. Strange.
(OK, not really strange, I know. Not when you consider the dogma, such as the "fool" discussion we just had. The dogma says it is the only thing that will work. So it doesn't really surprise me.)
Uh, yeah, I know what the Bible says about me. I would say it's wrong. And you could come up with some kind of looser interpretation (and some believers have) short of literally thinking I am a fool for not believing the same thing you do. You'd look less arrogant, for one thing.
(I might say it would have been foolish of me to stay in the dogma, when it was killing me. Believe me or don't. Up to you.)
Nearly all of my real-world friendships with former fellow believers are just fine, thank you. Attended a wedding just the other day, and it was like old times. (One exception, kinda, is the occasional unfriending on FB after I posted some things about gay marriage or whatever. Funny, though, in the cases that we later saw each other in real life, it was like it never happened. So maybe they're are real exceptions, either. Just a bit strange. But I understand, some people don't like reading opinions that differ from their own.)
I have friends here. Many enjoy reading my posts. Some have gone so far to say they would leaf AFF if I left.

AofG till about 2005, then attended an independent church that was pretty much Baptist, yes.
My posts may or may not "wake" anyone. It is my hope that they may stretch some folks' thinking, and cause them (if they want to) to consider things they may not have considered before. So sue me.

What couples do in their bedrooms is entirely between them and God, unless they consult their elder four counsel. Personally, I believe they do well to revel in their enjoyment of one another and make intimacy a joyous and loving union that includes play and exploration as they find it desirable.
Love (emotional and physical) between human beings is perfectly natural and by design. However, my issue with deviant forms of physical intimacy is that they are primarily grounded more in "lust" than true biblical "love". This, in my opinion, is the heart of all sexual sin - exploitation for personal gratification. Our sexuality should evolve into a loving and committed life long experience. Deviant forms of sexuality don't fit this description. So, for me at least, it's not the activities done in the bedroom that bother me. It's the essence of the motivation.
