He was accused of molesting 5 girls. This wasnt a one time thing. This reeks of a cover up!!!!!!!

People like Ndavid wanna turn this into a left vs right issue. That disgusts me!

Having reviewed your link, I see that you were not in the least interested in Duggar's interview from last night. I especially take note of the information about the State Trooper. You are purposely not wanting to listen to the Duggar's account.

I don't know all the details, and both sides probably are not 100% honest, because this has been made political. We would probably be amazed at how common this issue is. Although I 100% disagree with a 14 year molesting his little sister, I think that since they were juveniles it seems senseless to give it over to the government handle. I have heard many stories of abuses taken place while children are in foster care (human services ussually only make bad situations worse, I know firsthand). People are looking to the government to fix everything when things, most of the time, should be handled on the most local government level, "the home".

That was another point the father made last night. He talked to someone and they showed how the juvenile system wouldn't have helped his son.

So, from the interview, they did their homework and did the best they could to help their children by not throwing their son under the bus in order to help the girls as well.

It was an extremely difficult situation for them. And I believe they handled it very well as parents.

And if what they are saying is truth - we need to pray that God will use this situation to help other families. After all, he didn't have intercourse with them. That would have been much, much worse for all involved.

And, again, I want to say that the boy confessed to his deeds. That speaks very well for him in my book. I don't know how many offenders would snitch on themselves - hardly any, I would imagine.

I agree with what I know of the Duggars' actions, so long as they made sure to get the girls any help that they needed. Putting their son in the legal system would have been of absolutely NO benefit.

YOU brought up and used the word "conservative," not me! And yes, it IS a liberal vs conservative issue. The liberals made it a liberal vs conservative issue.

Liberals are gnashing for blood against this Godly family -- and every single liberal I've seen who's commented on this has brought up the Duggar's conservative and Godly values as the reason for their anger on the situation.

Where's the backlash against Lena Dunham for her writings about how she molested her sister when she was a young teen? She was given a total pass for it, even though she never apologized or felt what she did was wrong. None of the liberals currently gnashing against the Duggars said a peep about her.

You didn't say a word about it either. All this fake outrage against Josh Duggar, but not a word about Lena's molestation of her sister.

This was an issue which happened in the same year. He was in puberty. He knew what he did was wrong. He's apologized for it. He spoke to the victims and their family to apologize. He was punished for it. He never did it again after being punished for it.

The liberal gay supporters, probably have as much if not more molestation on their side of the fence. The liberals are using the limelit conservative Duggar families trauma to promote their agenda and foolish people are buying into to it. I don't support suing in most cases, but I believe the Duggars have been slandered by many liberal news broadcasters for things that took place while their children where juveniles. Years ago this sort of news was only in national inquirer type magazines, now these news agencies want the nastiest filth they can find.
