I have heard many stories of abuses taken place while children are in foster care (human services ussually only make bad situations worse, I know firsthand). People are looking to the government to fix everything when things, most of the time, should be handled on the most local government level, "the home".

That was another point the father made last night. He talked to someone and they showed how the juvenile system wouldn't have helped his son.
So, from the interview, they did their homework and did the best they could to help their children by not throwing their son under the bus in order to help the girls as well.
It was an extremely difficult situation for them. And I believe they handled it very well as parents.
And if what they are saying is truth - we need to pray that God will use this situation to help other families. After all, he didn't have intercourse with them. That would have been much, much worse for all involved.
And, again, I want to say that the boy confessed to his deeds. That speaks very well for him in my book. I don't know how many offenders would snitch on themselves - hardly any, I would imagine.
