God sees it much different. Note the force with which Paul presents the idea that we cannot continue to sin.
1What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
2God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? 3Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
Rom 6:2
He leaves us with the teaching not only we must cease from sin but puts the timing from our baptism.
Can a Christian continue to sin? Well yes
HOWEVER if he does he should not expect to enter the Kingdom.
