Yes, I call that muddying the waters.
DENYING the gospel that saves and proffering up another gospel is what
the Apostle Paul said of them that
"...would pervert the gospel...". You
may call it acceptable: but that's you. Calling them that would pervert
the gospel that saves muddying the waters: that's me. I can just say,
"muddy the waters", or call them outright liars: it is the same. Or what
is a liar: but he that has rejected truth and embraced another (but false)
gospel? And with the rejection of the gospel that saves comes embracing
false doctrine.
