The point is that while some would like to totally politicize the Gospel into strictly a socio-political movement to "Christianize" a culture... biblical Christianity is spiritual. We see more in Scripture involving salvation, miracles, healing, and deliverance from demonic spirits than we do efforts to "Christianize" Rome. And historically speaking, we see where that understanding took us. Enter... the Holy Roman Empire.
Keep the church pure (opposing antichrist imaginations).
Oppose demonic forces (engaging demonic spirits in spiritual warfare).
It's actually that simple.
