That's just my point. Christianity was influenced by Constantine's so-called conversion. His mother "Helena" was the Jezebel, and Constantine was the "Ahab" vehicle in what she propelled her Paganizing of Christianity.
The doctrine of the "just war" is what American Christianity has adopted.
During the Civil War both sides employed this ideology with the North justifying her actions by claiming that she was fighting to set men free. Therefore being more righteous than her Southern brothers who the Northerners shot and laid waste to their Southern brother's homes.
