Some of you are truly amazing. Had you been around in John the Baptist's day or Peter's day, you would have wrote BOTH of them off for the same reasons you speak of regarding JA.
Both of them can easily be classified as rude, crude and crass.
You can't pass John the Baptist off by saying that "he had knowledge that we don't have", as was done with Jesus.
And you can't pass Peter off either when he extended no mercy to Ananias and Sapphira.
These guys were just plain people like you and I with the same access to information.

I believe both men you mentioned we found offensive because of the
content and not their style. JA's style is the issue.
