If you feel that strong about the tv issue, then you should leave if it passes.
I'm not UPC. I've gone to UPC churches over the years but tv was not an issue there. The whole issue seems kinda silly to me because so many people in UPC churches (pastors included) have tv's. The "rule" is openly ignored. In my opinion (which carries no weight because I'm an outsider to the UPC) the whole tv thing should be left to the individual believer's conscience and any mention of it should be removed from the Manual.
