My observation is that you can make the Bible say anything you want it to say to support the position you have taken. That is why Christianity is so deep in the "doo doo" of divisive issues that most unbelievers have a difficult time finding their way to the cross and a relationship with Jesus Christ. Most Pentecostals are much more interested in arguing over words and issues than winning people to Jesus Christ. If someone does occasionally find Christ and begin attending church they soon discover that it's issues that dominate in most churches, not the exaltation of Jesus Christ.
