Um ... does this not mean they would start an org and invite others to join? ... seems pertinent to me.

I agree with Mizpeh and your pejorative does not make you right. I have seen few Rolexes on preachers wrists in my area....few own more than one home...if they own any, let alone a barge? The only ones I know of that can even come close to that is someone like the Haney's with larger churches.

But I will tell you sometime else...at Campmeetings when they are taking up the offering to pay for that organized mess we call "havin church"...it's those Pastors that give the largest offerings too!

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

I believe they have been independant for some time and nope, not a national Groundswell and I don't think any of then are interested in an position any more than Steve Epley would be wanting a GS type position.

See Kansas Preacher post here to see who ever was your source does not have a grasp on a national level.

It is NOT there.

DA, I have a question/s.

I notice you do a lot of analitical posting on this forum. And not a few posts to which I can say "Amen!". You spend an incredible amout of time on this forum discussing UPC. You rarely miss a beat. They ban you and you are back at it.

But I wonder, what do you care?

Do you have a real interest in the UPCI of the future?

What is your hope for the UPC?

What is your motive?

I know, I know..., this may mean another thread....

Sorry if this is too personal for public answers. My curiosity has been peaked before concerning this... so I thought I would just ask.

Thanks in advance!

Steve Hoover

I am a firm believer in the Old Paths

Articles on such subjects as "The New Birth," will be accepted, whether they teach that the new birth takes place before baptism in water and Spirit, or that the new birth consists of baptism of water and Spirit. - THE PENTECOSTAL HERALD Dec. 1945

"It is doubtful if any Trinitarian Pentecostals have ever professed to believe in three gods, and Oneness Pentecostals should not claim that they do." - Daniel Segraves

My concerns center around those who have sought to hijack a wonderful fellowship over a period of decades ....

I like others have friends and family in the fellowship and would like to see necessary changes that are bringing this situation to a head.

Sorry if that is too analitical for you.
