I could be wrong, but I think there could be some who are speculating that your recent changes have to do with the possibility that you guys might be making your way back into the UPC and therefore have to look the part, and not because of any conviction.
So, unless you have not done so already, a statement from you saying that your recent changes have nothing to do with the fact that you might return to the UPC might put everything to rest. Until then, it is going to be of great interest to some as they will be watching you to see if around the same time that you return to the UPC (if in fact that happens) whether you will start saying that it is a holiness issue...in which case, they may think it is a sell-out because of ulterior motives.
Anyway, that is what I think is happening....who knows?
