Debating the greasy gracers has been fun in the past...but this new (well, not new, but paganism dressed in new high heels and a new miniskirt) heresy makes greasy grace about as greasy as a pork chop left in the grill overnight. When these people change the word of God in their arguments, there is nothing to debate.

No one has forced the more established posters out. They have left of their own accord. It is no longer fun when the spirit of the majority of posters turns into a witch hunt against those who believe strong ethics and holiness standards.

You said a lot in your post, most of which I wont even bother to touch, for a variety of reasons.. but one thing I want to comment on.

I am not talking about Peter as the teacher.

I am talking about alter workers instructing folks on the art of speaking in tongues.
I have never seen or known of any Apostolic church instructing people on "the art of speaking in tongues". I cant say it's never happened. But if you've been in the UPC 40+ years as you say, you already know that that would be an aberration, and not normal UPC teaching or practice.

I think its intellectually dishonest to bring that to the debate when you must already know that "instructing folks on the art of speaking in tongues" is strongly frowned upon in UPC churches. (If anything, that practice is much more prevalent in charismatic churches than apostolic.)

I could think of some wacky things I've heard of someone doing in a PCI church, but if I were to bring that up as being a reason I disagree with PCI doctrine, that wouldn't be fair or reasonable now, would it ?

I have been in some Charismatic churches that did teach such things. I have not actually heard this argument in a few years. I agree with you that those who are True Apostolic reject such a move as mockery.

I do not know what rock you crawled out from under.

When I received the Holy Ghost at Mark Hanby's church in 1976 at 11 years old.

His bible school students were instructing me how to speak in tongues.

My dad was a teacher at the school his teaching was on the Oneness.

When Mark Hanby watched as they tried to instruct me on how to speak in tongues.

He told them to step aside and layed his hands on me as the spirit of the Lord fell on me.

I was a member from childhood in some of the largest churches in the UPCI.

Until early 2007.

Everyone of them had alter workers who would tell folks how to speak in tongues.

My neighbor today got scared off at the large UPCI church that I attended in Oak Creek, Wi for 27 years.

I am not dishonest for sharing my 43 years of "real" experience in some of the largest churches in Oneness.

Again you did not stop at the Cross in your response....

Does leaning to the PCI side condone acceptance of "Light Doctrine" or "Universal Salvation?" My lands, some who have abandoned all holiness and baptize in the Trinity still promote FULL Salvation. We have this huge segment who seem to totally abandon the requirement for Baptism in both Water and Spirit. Felicity has affirmed she is not one of the same.

Do you really take what happenned in that church as a cross section of the whole of the UPC?
