Like I said, it is honoring the person who has asked for the request and it is lifting that personal, private request before God. I am intervening in prayer, who knows that request best and, yes, I am the one that is going to be more effective in praying for them. You thought foot washing was useless too, but I have found it was and is an awesome experience. I've always loved it.

Well, that's fine. Keep up the footwashing if you love it and you find it meaningful. I have no problem with the practice if people want to do that.
