Some people, especially those who have been "burned" by a bad apples in the past, tend to get cynical and look at all preachers with distrust and cynicism. That is just as wrong as the actions of a bad preacher himself.
I try to approach those in ministry with respect and admiration until proven otherwise. However I do not blindly trust any human being nor do I think God expects us to. People that do that sometime end up in far off African countries drinking Kool Aid laced with poison!

How true and sad! I myself have been there too! I trusted preachers all my life and then we were really hurt by a pastor.... It was crazy and in my hurt I put all preachers into one category and thought that if this one man that I trusted did this, then others will also.... God really worked me over because my attitude was not right! God restored my faith in preachers.... Now I just don't put them on a pedestal. I do remember that they too, make mistakes...... Some mistakes I over look, some I just cannot over look!
