Please be specific. Nearly all legislation passed in the past 8 years was REPUBLICAN or had traction among REPUBLICANS...and signed into law by a REPUBLICAN President that could have vetoed anything...but most are uncertain if he knew what a veto was. LOL

Raising the minimum wage by congressional mandate is a stupid thing to do.
It is old school liberalism at its finest.

First in the short term it hurts the economy because it forces business owners to cut jobs.

Second in the long term it drives wage inflation which drives real inflation.

Third all it really does is secure the lowest possible wage for EVERYONE making the minimum up to the new minimum.

raising the minimum wage makes poor people poorer.....

My point is that as a party this is their primary focus. The rest comes in on the state level and among individual candidates.

The cost of living is getting too high to sustain a family. Business better start increasing wages voluntarily to help families meet the cost of living...or we're going to see a drastic drop in quality of living and enconomic pressures driving families into bankruptcy. People are already walking away from their homes because it's cheaper than paying off the mortgage. If the free market doesn't act on it's own...Goverment...God's ordained agent of justice...will step in and offer relief. First, in tax rebates. Second, by mandating increased wages.

The business world as a choice...to righteously voluntarily...or by mandate of law.

The above being fact, it's no wonder that there are more blacks in the jails and prisons. This isn't the fault of the white man. This is each individual's fault.

Commit the crime, do the time. I don't care what color you are.

Such idealism in our justice system. Mostly uninformed. Today few get a trial by jury regarding the issues above. Most are pressured into plea bargains.

you see what has happened to them. they have lost power in the congress.


if the republcians dont buck up and go back to being concervitives, they wont get power back.
