Your experience when you dropped "dress standards"

After much discussion, prayer and tears, reading my Bible and asking God to show me the truth I came to the conclusion that a lot of these things aren't heaven or hell issues. I do believe in decency and moderation though and that there is a limit to how low necklines should go or how much makeup or jewelry is no longer moderate or how little hair is too short on a women. I may wear slacks to my small group during the week but I don't believe wearing them to church on Sunday (and especially if you're on the platform) is appropriate. We all have our own convictions though and need to work out our own salvation.

I had a dream once where a lady, whom I perceived to be from the Middle East, spoke to me in a language that I did not understand. When I took a good look at her I remember being suprised for some reason to see that her fingernails were painted and she had big wide gold earrings on. Her message for me ended up being The Coming Of The Lord Is Closer Than You Think. At these point I began to speak in tongues in my dream and woke up speaking in tongues. I've often wondered if this dream was trying to tell me not to be so judgemental of others.
