Let me stop and take a quick breath here to say I am having a ball on this thread!!! (Except for when OP thought he could exert his superior Holy Ghostness over us and suggest we don't have the Holy Ghost.) Other than that, I am having fun!

I don't see it as being superior, but he is deserving of some respect as an elder is he not?
