What is boils down to guys, is what seemeth good to the Holy Ghost that you possess. If you aren't convicted by it, then by all means, have at it. But if you are convicted and you attend a church that preaches against, you had better not do it. That simple.
I'm not the judge and don't profess to be and don't want to be. I enjoy "debating", but I don't enjoy being slammed and made to feel like an idiot for the things that I believe and so much of the time, this is what happens. I don't like lables either, just be a Christian and do what the bible and your pastor says and you'll be fine.

I don't have a problem with "shorts" that are below the knee. I would not wear them to church meetings either.
