Jesus entire ministry was only 3 1/2 years and in that timeframe he won over and sent out preachers to preach. He either did it only in the last 6 months of His ministry, or He didn't see the need to mandate a timeframe for someone going into ministry. It isn't the principle I am against. There's nothing wrong with legislating a time frame if there is a need for it... and if the ELders believe there is a need then the young ministers should respect that and wait for their seasoning to be completed.....
