Dingbats
Dingbats (that's what my Dad called them ) that never were Home Mission pastors, never pastored a church, never evangelized a day in their life, never counseled a distraught saint, never drove a hundred miles in bad weather to visit a dying saint in a hospital, never stood in the pulpit and try to feed peoples soul, never canceled a vacation (looking in the eyes of his disappointed children) because a saint has a tragedy and needed their pastor close by, never researched a subject and preached a sermon on that subject in their life, never had to tell a wife that her husband was killed in an accident, never walked into a business and had the manager dress him down about a lowlife bill beating church member, never had to sit a man down and tell him his wife has been committing adultery with his best friend, never had to listen to disgruntled folks that said they were leaving the church and yet those same dingbats THINK they can sit in judgment on any and all preachers.
You don't have a clue, but one day real soon you will.

While I understand what you are saying, the way you say it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. You chose to follow your calling, so don't throw all the unpleasantness up in others faces that don't have the call or the gifts to do what a Pastor does. Wouldn't the blessings out weigh what you have mentioned?
You are sounding just like the "dingbats" you protest against but just to the opposite extreme. .
