LOL! I hadn't thought of it that way!
We supplied a lot of money when the violence was happening, and in the months afterwards. Our head pastor really stepped up to the plate, putting himself in danger many times to make "food runs" to other pastor's homes and going to rescue pastor's families from the violence and relocate them. He is a relatively young man, but my respect for him went up about 1,000% this past year. He drove across the border to Uganda at one point, with a police escort, to buy food. All he could get was rice and cabbage, and he distributed that to our other pastors. That was all they lived on for many weeks.
Kenya seems peaceful now. But I did get several pictures of Kikuyu homes and businesses that were burned or just flattened. It was really a sad time!
