Someone that rejects solid bible principles like saying it's ok to fornicate as long as you are in a monogamous relationship. Or saying being a homosexual is ok etc etc. Someone that is dead set against sin and preaching repentance does not seem liberal to me. You can say "someone is liberal when it comes to standards" and that might be a correct use of the word, but to tag someone as a liberal just because they disagree with standards ends up being misleading to me when you consider that liberal Christianity in general is not about standards.
